Vidette Lake is found at a fairly low elevation. Rainbow Trout and Kokanee are
abundant. There is a private resort on the lake, as well as a forest service
site for camping. Vidette Lake is also used as a base to access 16 other smaller
lakes in the area. Vidette Lake is accessible by 2 wheel drive.
