Thuya Lake is often used as a base camp to fish approx. 30 small lakes located
in close proximity to Thuya Lake. The lakes in the area range in elevation from
3,800 to 5,400 feet ensuring good fishing throughout the season - from June
until September. The lakes in the area vary in size and deepness - most are
under a mile long with an average depth of 45 feet - all self-spawn with
natural/wild Kamloops trout. The lakes produce Rainbows to 3 - 4 pounders, with
the odd “lunker” up to 8 pounds.
